PHASE 3D

Phase 3D of the U.S. 95 Northwest Corridor Improvements Project is the final phase of the Centennial Bowl. This phase provides local connections, completes the system-to-system interchange at U.S. 95 and CC 215, expands CC 215, improves local roadways, and constructs facilities for non-motorized transportation. Additionally, Phase 3D implements landscape and aesthetic features to enhance the traveling public’s experience.

U.S. 95 Lane Restrictions Near Centennial Bowl

Starting as early as January 28, 2022, crews will reduce lanes on U.S. 95 at the 215 Beltway near the Centennial Bowl in the northwest part of the Las Vegas Valley. Lane reductions will last approximately eight months. The lane reductions are needed to build three bridges over U.S. 95 as part of the ongoing work for the interchange’s final phase of construction.

Long-Term Closure of Oso Blanca Road From CC 215 Beltway to South of Deer Springs Way Begins February 7

Oso Blanca Road will close from the CC 215 Beltway to just south of Deer Springs Way in northwest Las Vegas beginning at 9 pm, Sunday, Feb. 7. Oso Blanca Road will remain closed for up to three years during the system-to-system interchange’s completion as part of the $155 million Centennial Bowl project’s final phase, which began last month.

This long-term closure will widen and realign Oso Blanca Road, eventually providing direct access to Centennial Center Boulevard. Construction also modifies eastbound CC 215 Beltway access at Oso Blanca Road, incorporates new one-way slip ramps to and from Sky Pointe Drive, and includes a new multi-use trail benefitting the community.

Motorists should use caution while travelling through the work zone, heed construction signage, and take alternate detour routes if possible. NDOT works with Waze to inform the public about planned highway restrictions, but unscheduled construction changes, closures, and restrictions are possible due to weather or other factors. For the latest state highway conditions, visit nvroads.com or call 511 before driving.
